# Who we are: NRCTTD is an independent research center established by a decree from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The center is a member of the Libya Authority of Scientific Research. The center is located in Zintan, Libya, and has a branch in Tripoli, Libya # Vision: To be the leading research center that actively contributes to scientific research related to Tropical and Trans-boundary Diseases and supports other institutions to prevent and control these diseases. # Mission: Applying, demonstrating, and highlighting the scientific and research aspect regarding the causes of tropical and transboundary diseases Providing significant research, consultation, and valuable services, and working to create, develop and encourage research teams by providing the appropriate climate for carrying out research Providing the necessary equipment and materials, and setting up plans to support disease prevention and control.
