Groundbreaking Technology and Major Surgery: for the first time in Libya A 49-year-old patient suffering from hearing loss due to a middle ear issue underwent a groundbreaking surgery at Misrata Medical Center. Performed by Dr. Khaled Bayou, the procedure involved a bone-anchored hearing implant using the ATTRACT SYSTEM, a first in Libya. Notably, this advanced implant, conducted under the auspices of Alfa Healthcare's workshops, transmits sound vibrations to the auditory nerve via the BAHA 6MAX, the world's most recent bone-anchored hearing device from the Australian company Cochlear. We are delighted to be part of this distinguished medical system, collaborating with leading specialists across various medical and health fields. The patient's condition has improved significantly, and they are overjoyed to have regained their hearing.
