Verifeye.online developed a tech platform that brings exceptional experience in remote customers onboarding and authentication to European banks and other financial institutions 🏦 ! Based in Latvia 🇱🇻 and with a strong presence in the German 🇩🇪 market, Verifeye Online, under the leadership of its core team Christopher Gray, Bernt Corneliussen and Samy Patel, who bring extensive experience from the financial services and technology industry, is committed to accelerating remote client onboarding while ensuring full compliance with EU regulations 🇪🇺 . Verifeye Online provides a combination of unique workflow and tech architecture that makes remote customers authentication 3x faster. As a result, customers now spend 3x less time on online authentication when setting up bank accounts or applying for other banking products. Simultaneously, banks and also other financial institutions can onboard three times more customers while significantly reducing customer churn during the onboarding process. We're excited to join the Verifeye Online team on this journey, and we look forward to witnessing how Verifeye Online becomes a standard in remote banking.

We are happy to announce our first investment this year 💸 💸 💸 . New Nordic Ventures invested in QuickShipper, Georgia-based startup 🇬🇪 that provides a comprehensive quick commerce management platform for online merchants, offering seamless integration and optimization of delivery operations. QuickShipper also connects online merchants with the leading delivery partners in their region e.g. Glovo and Wolt, thus building mutually beneficial partnerships where merchants get access to external couriers on demand and delivery platforms improve utilisation of their couriers in non-peak hours. We are excited to support QuickShipper in their expansion. The EU 🇪🇺 is implementing a piece of legislation that will regulate how 28 million of delivery agents/couriers in Europe will be employed in nearest future pushing that the delivery platforms will need to employ their couriers. This is going to have a material impact on fixed costs of delivery platforms and thus utilisation of employees/couriers will become an important topic for such companies. QuickShipper brings a significant impact here by helping all the stakeholders to operate more efficiently and adopt the new regulatory requirements w/o loosing commercial feasibility (e.g. maintaining delivery fees at reasonable level). 🚀 Exciting News! 🌍 Last week, we were privileged to organise an amazing Pitch Battle for Armenian 🇦🇲 and Georgian 🇬🇪 startups, hosted at the ServiceTitan Armenia. 🏢 Out of nearly 100 exceptional applications, we selected the top ten finalists who showcased the incredible tech products and entrepreneurial spirit of the region. The competition was incredibly strong and the jury had several favorites, but we made our choice and announced the winner - SARD Anti-Cheat – a company that protects gamers against cheaters (like anti-doping agency, but in eSports)! 🎮 SARD Anti-Cheat is building an advanced anti-cheat platform, a game-changer for the gaming community worldwide. 🛡️🕹️ Thanks a lot for all the finalists who made this event and brought it to such a high level.
