This Thursday, we’re throwing it back to the summer of 2018 at Kim?—when Merike Estna's “Disposable Gloves Guide” exhibition and opening performance took the stage. “As an artistically sensitive and tonally rich presentation, Inga Meldere and Luīze Nežberte’s Sunpoles also touches on aspects of ecological, economic and social sustainability. Reflecting on the potential announced by Symbiocene, or reflections on humanity from outside the anthropocentric consciousness, the exhibition highlights the necessity to resolve the issues raised by chaos and constant change with the aim of replanting (in ourselves) understanding towards the interrelationship between humanity and nature.” — Zane Onckule The duo exhibition Sunpoles by Luīze Nežberte and Inga Meldere is on view until Nov 17! There’s no better time to be in Paris – Kim?’s Patron Trip was an absolute delight. We explored Art Basel Paris, The Salon by NADA & The Community, and Paris Internationale, along with various exhibitions, events, and artist studio visits across the city. These Patron Trips are a cherished tradition, seamlessly merging art exploration with support for the arts. The program strikes the perfect balance between professional engagement and leisure, with visits to key cultural events and exhibition openings while fostering connections with industry insiders.

In her individual practice, Inga Meldere is preoccupied with abstracted and poetic painterly investigations – “hand exercises” – based on what she has observed as part of her daily routine, read, or noticed on her smartphone. Visit us and see how the artist transforms everyday moments into surreal, dreamlike painterly scenes! Duo show “Sunpoles” by Luīze Nežberte and Inga Meldere is on view until Nov 17.
