🪅 Another great milestone for Voltcore’s technology has been achieved. This month, we accomplished a full-scale industrial production of our material and heating filament, finishing with test runs of our product. We have fantastic results in terms of quality and accuracy of the filament’s characteristics. As inspirational as it is, it also gives enough filament to start further production of heating textiles and laminates. New test round in the pipeline: Voltcore car seat heaters 💺 Did you know that in-cabin heating can reduce driving range by 20-30%? What's worse, conventional AC systems are notorious for worsening respiratory and allergy conditions. A game changer in in-cabin heating, our TargetHeat product is a versatile heating solution that seamlessly integrates into car seats and other in-cabin elements. On top of that, it can help solve the driving range challenge, extending it and improving the in-cabin experience for car users in cold regions of the world. Now, we are launching a new test round on how TargetHeat affects the driving distance of a car, providing heat to its most important parts. 🤯 Recently the best heating solution on the market, infrared carbon films, have lost their top spot In a head-to-head test, we’ve assessed how an IR carbon film compares to our product, and the results are more than satisfying. Our test product was TargetHeat, unidirectional heating laminate solution. 🟢 During the test, it turned out that TargetHeat has significant energy-efficiency and performance advantages. It reaches the temperature of 35°C in just 8 minutes, showcasing rapid heating while using only 80Wh. With an average heating rate of 1.7°C per minute, it effectively warmed the test cover layer, wooden laminates. The faster the heating speed, the more comfortable the living conditions. 🔴 In contrast, the carbon film sample only reached 28.3°C after 1 hour (!), despite consuming the total energy of 150Wh. 🟢 What’s more, in 13 minutes, our TargetHeat heated up to 39°C and, consuming the same 150Wh, sustained this temperature for an hour. TargetHeat’s superior ability to achieve desired temperatures quickly and energy-efficiently makes it a breakthrough heating solution. Highlights from the lab 🗜️ We get asked all the time: ‘How do you know that your material is truly energy-efficient?’ To make sure of it, we built a lab stand that imitates real-world heating systems and helps us test and measure temperature changes and energy use. With this setup, we compare our latest samples to each other and to our already-marketed rivals. It even replicates a floor setup — concrete, a heating element, and flooring.
