Today, our laboratory in Norwood, MA opened three new specialised laboratories focused on Softlines & Hardlines, Furniture, and Toys. Attendees were given a tour of the facilities and joined technical discussions on key industry trends with the lab inaugurated by Eurofins Consumer Product Testing EVP Gregg Tiemann. Highlights of the expansion include: - PFAS Total Organic Fluorine (TOF) testing to ensure businesses manage per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance risks in their supply chains - Furniture testing to meet BIFMA standards and ensure businesses meet strict quality standards and regulations - Mattress testing rooms and mattress testing equipment - Hardlines testing utilising climate chambers, and temperature and humidity-controlled environments With the added capabilities, Eurofins | MTS believes this lab will be a central destination for retail product manufacturer and the new capabilities greatly compliments the wide range of consumer product testing services offered by Eurofins worldwide.

If these bills are signed, California could become the first state to establish an EPR program for textiles.
