Formerly known as Lone Star Clean Fuel Alliance, we are a U.S. Department of Energy-recognized, membership-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit coalition in the Clean Cities and Communities partnership, serving the Central Texas region since 1994. For over 30 years, we have supported municipalities, government agencies, businesses, and schools/universities with vehicle fleets.
We cover the 5-county Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)—Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties. This aligns with the Capital Area Council of Governments Clean Air Coalition (CAC), which includes elected officials from these counties who develop clean air plans to meet federal eight-hour air quality standards. We collaborate with the CAC’s air quality committees to maintain compliance with the federal standards with a specific focus on ozone (03) and
particulate matter (PM 2.5).
