    Digital Product Creation Centre of Excellence recently hosted their bi-annual roadshow DI-Verse 2024. The event highlighted groundbreaking advancements in digital twins, consumer insights, and generative AI across MAS, demonstrating how these innovations can enhance our product creation process and deliver substantial business impact. 12 teams at MAS across apparel and material showcased how they have built and scaled capabilities in DPC. 5 teams were recognized with 8 awards for driving adoption/innovation and business impact.   Leadership and cross-functional teams gained valuable insights into how these technologies are poised to transform our product creation process. Our tech partners Browzwear CLO Virtual Fashion Inc.     MAS Holdings championed the theme of winning with digital: co-creation: a playbook for true product collaboration at the PI Apparel New York 2024 Forum in the US last week. During the session, Kaveen Ratnaweera, Deputy General Manager - Digitalization & Strategic Planning at MAS Intimates explored how the coming together of technology, digital workflows and cultural transformation is unlocking a whole new level of real-time product collaboration. He also shared practical case studies showcasing how brands and vendors are leveraging digital-first processes, AI tools, and collaborative mindsets to co-create products across global supply chains, ensuring agility and cost-effectiveness. "Speed, price and sustainability must no longer come at the expense of creativity and design genius. Our digital first playbook unlocks a winning mindset and returns for all by bringing together best in class tech, talented MAS changemakers and leveraging the long-standing trust between us and our partner brands", Kaveen stated. PI Apparel New York is a platform to explore strategies and technologies advancing digital product creation and connect with colleagues, vendors and thought leaders on topical content. The forum continues to provide a global platform for the advancement of technology use within fashion, apparel, and footwear.

    Our very own Deethri Samarajeewa, Account Manager - Development for PVH at MAS Intimates, has been chosen to represent Sri Lanka at the 2024 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in New Zealand this December.    Deethri demonstrated remarkable athletic prowess, achieving notable standings in international events including the Abu Dhabi World Triathlon Series 2023 and the T100 World Tour in Singapore 2024, where she secured a commendable 3rd place among over 1,000 athletes. Recently, her exceptional performance at Ironman 70.3 Vietnam (5:07:29 hours) earned her a coveted spot in the upcoming World Championships. Deethri is also a former Sri Lanka National Synchronized Swimmer and a National Water Polo Player. Commenting on the achievement Deethri said, “I feel privileged to be representing Sri Lanka at the World Championship and am dedicated to training diligently to deliver my best performance. I am deeply grateful to MAS Intimates for its unwavering support in balancing my athletic pursuits and professional responsibilities. My managers and team members' understanding, and flexibility have enabled me to pursue my dreams in the field while excelling in my career”.   MAS Intimates fosters an environment where individuals can excel in their roles while nurturing their interests beyond the workplace.     MAS Intimates hosted the Graduation & Inauguration of the Intimates Product Lead Programme in June at the Luminex Auditorium, Sri Lanka. During the event, the team officially celebrated the graduation of the first batch and welcomed the second batch. The MAS Intimates Senior Leadership, the new and incoming graduates and their managers attended the session. Béatrice Cené, Head of Design and Technical Bodywear and Hosiery at Hugo Boss also virtually joined the session and congratulated the participants and spoke about the business partnership with MAS Intimates. The Intimates Product Lead Programme is an 18 month-long elite training series meticulously designed to elevate expertise and find the product leaders of tomorrow. Participants are handpicked from the Fabric Tech, Garment Tech, Merchandising, Design & Innovation teams through a rigorous selection process. Throughout the course of the programme, they gain insights from the senior leadership and witness on-site operations through plant visits. The training programme delivers firsthand experience of the processes in the product lifecycle; from strategy, product design, supply chain, technical, and bonding to costing, product pitch, innovation. The programme concluded with the participants working on a group project where they crafted and pitched innovative new products to the product panel. Congratulations to the outgoing batch and a warm welcome to the incoming batch of PLP! Let's embark on a journey to nurture the finest product leaders for MAS Intimates!
