On the 29th of August, we had the privilege of conducting an informative session to introduce Hela and its social capital pillar to the students at APIIT Sri Lanka. RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality) is a programme dedicated to advancing gender equality across the global garment, footwear, and home textile supply chains. This initiative focuses on empowering female workers, integrating gender equality into business practices, and driving systemic change. It aims to enhance women's agency, shift gender attitudes, and build capacity in areas such as financial literacy and sexual and reproductive health.   We are excited to share that Hela has been selected to enhance the skills of training specialists through the RISE Training Specialist program, which was recently launched in Vietnam to focus on developing key soft skills. We have successfully begun this initiative by training our internal RISE trainers and completing essential modules, including Self-Management & Change, Gender & Communication, Problem-Solving & Decision Making, Time and Stress Management, Execution Excellence, and Fundamental Principles & Right to Fair Conditions at Work. The comprehensive, engaging and interactive seven-day training programme, which started on the 26th of July, involved 19 participants from across the Hela Group. The Hela Group is pleased to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) and Focus Brands, the brand licensing division of Hela, for Reebok. Under this new long-term partnership, Focus Brands will oversee the design, manufacturing, and distribution of Reebok-branded outerwear across the UK and Europe. This includes a comprehensive range of products for men, women, and children, spanning outdoor jackets, soft shells, bonded fleeces, and padded jackets. These products will be available through speciality retailers, department stores, and e-commerce platforms across the UK and Europe. This milestone not only expands Focus Brands' collaboration with Authentic Brands but also marks a significant achievement for the Hela Group since its acquisition of Focus Brands earlier this year. The partnership aligns with the Hela Group’s strategic vision to enhance Focus Brands into a premier global brand management company, leveraging advanced manufacturing solutions.
