Although more commonly known as a diagnostics and troubleshooting tool, the “Start Here” app from Benshaw also serves as a soft start selection guide, walking you through the steps needed to identify a suitable Benshaw soft starter based on your industry, application, line voltage and motor size (HP or kW).
To get started, simply download and launch the appropriate version of the app for your mobile device (iOS from Apple‘s App Store or Android from Google Play), then select ‘QuickPick’ starter selection. Choose your industry, application, line voltage, motor size and environment.
The “Start Here” app will recommend an appropriate soft starter model and rating. The app will also provide helpful technical information, including:
