Psychologia evolutionaria
Psychologia evolutionaria est psychologiae pars quae vias aperit ad inveniendas causas evolutionarias morum natura ingeneratorum et facultatum mentalium. Qui enim in psychologia evolutionaria versatur, adaptationes sive proventus operativos selectione naturali et selectione sexuali paratos cognoscere studet. Adaptationistica de mechanismis physiologicis, sicut corde pulmonibus systemate immunitatis, opinio crebra apud biologos evolutionarios est. Nonnulli psychologi evolutionarii eandem cogitationem ad psychologiam transferunt, affirmantes menti esse structuram modularem corpori similem, cui variae sunt adaptationes modulares variis finibus servientes. Psychologi evolutionarii multos mores humanos affirmant ex psychologicis provenisse adaptationibus, quae natae sunt ad solvendas difficultates in circumiecta proavorum recidentes.[2]
Psychologi evolutionarii dicunt morum proprietates universales, quae ubique per orbem terrarum inveniuntur, evolutionariarum adaptationum testimonio esse,[3] inter quas sunt agnitio permotionum, consanguineorum ab alienis distinctio, praelatio coniugum sanorum, voluntas cooperatoria. Prospera nuntiant examina praedictionum theoreticarum quae ad infanticidium, intellegentiam, exemplaria matrimonii, concubituum promiscuitatem, perceptionem pulchritudinis, arrabonem sponsae et dotem, sumptum parentalem, aliasque res pertinent.[4]
Sunt qui putent psychologiam evolutionariam omnino non esse psychologiae partem sed potius fundamentum metatheoreticum in theoria evolutionaria positum quod omnes partes inter se copulat et campum psychologiae in totum redigit non aliter quam biologia doctrina evolutionaria concinnata est.
