Summary
This is a strong growth position with 2K Asia, publisher of AAA Blockbuster PC/Console franchises such as Borderlands, Civilization, and NBA 2K. The role will be given a chance to manage the Go to market execution of a title and support the senior team members in other areas of marketing and communications across the 2K portfolio, as well as build and maintain the 2K’s social media channels in Korea.
Responsibilities
Work closely in supporting the Korea Marketing Lead and management of agencies plan and execute marketing campaigns to achieve territory commercial targets
Communication and collaboration with global and regional stakeholders to support campaign planning and achieving company business goals
Manage and grow 2K Korea social accounts with the aim of growing the community within Korea
Build and own relationships with key local gaming media and influencers to grow the brand presence of 2K games in the territory
Dissemination of media releases and compiling coverage reports for the Global Communications team
Keys To Success
5-10 years of relevant experience in roles responsible for Marketing, PR and/or Social in Gaming, Entertainment or Consumer Lifestyle brands
Strong knowledge of local players preferences - with specific knowledge to PC & Console games
Good understand and experience working with the influencers/MCNs in Korea
A team player, eye for detail and willingness to learn and roll up their sleeves to get the job done
Strong written and spoken communication, interpersonal skills
Interest in video games is appreciated
Written and spoken proficiency in English is a requirement
