Corporate Communications Senior Specialist/Manager

Location: Dongtan, Korea

We’re looking for a Corporate Communications Senior Specialist / Manager, a vital role working within a creative and collaborative team. This person will report to the Manager of Corporate Communications in Asia and support external/internal communications strategy and execution in South Korea.

The ideal candidate must be resourceful, flexible, and passionate about integrated communications with a “can-do” mindset, with the ability to be agile and adapt to different tasks and projects. Confident and comfortable in collaboration with teams across sites with different cultural backgrounds.

In this diverse role, you will work closely with the global communications team, people team, sales team, government relations team, and other organizational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive the country communications for both external and internal communications in alignment with global communication goals.
  • Customize and implement local/global communications campaigns/initiatives in Korea to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support the company’s business goals.
  • Oversee Korea event and marketing campaign approach and execution to ensure alignment with global strategy.
  • Support external and internal events, such as conferences, tradeshows and all-hands meetings.
  • Create, oversee and execute local content for a variety of channels, including social media, digital, video and internal news channels.
  • Support leadership communications and seek out effective external engagement opportunities to build brand awareness.
  • Work with global communications team to ensure alignment and consistency of the brand.
  • Partner with local people team to implement awareness and branding campaigns to support talent acquisition and retention, support local employee engagement programs
  • Manage and work effectively with various stakeholders, agencies and third parties


Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with and influence senior levels or executives, adapt fast and to work independently within deadlines.
  • A strong writer in Korean and excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of media relations, social media, and experience in vendor management
  • An eye for detail, design, and imagery
  • Can switch between internal and external communication mindsets.
  • Ability and flexibility to work and collaborate globally in a multicultural environment.
  • Be able to work independently in Korea but be able to connect as part of a global team.


The Following Would Be An Advantage

  • Experience and passion for the high-tech industry
  • PR agency background or semiconductor industry experience would be a great plus
