While he may no longer be the CEO, we are happy to have him as our technical advisor. [ADVACT Attends the 2024 Offshore Wind Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition: An Enlightening Experience] Last week, our Vice President, Kwangkyu Choi, visited the 2024 Offshore Wind Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition hosted by the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association. The event covered a wide range of topics related to the offshore wind industry supply chain. We gained valuable insights into the classification systems, project statuses, and participation requirements through various presentations, helping us understand the current trends in the offshore wind sector. The seminar on goverment-led development zones allowed us to share updates on local government initiatives from Boryeong, Taean, and Gyeongsangnam-do, and discuss considerations for selecting suitable sites. It was encouraging to see the potential for growth in Korea’s offshore wind industry. The participation of numerous companies—Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Corio Generation, KREDO Holdings, Equinor, SK ecoplant, Doosan Enerbility, etc.—and institutions demonstrated a strong interest in Korea's offshore wind, and we anticipate significant industry growth alongside technological advancements. This conference was instrumental in enhancing our understanding of the offshore wind supply chain and government-led development zones. It provided an excellent opportunity to gather information about related companies and their contributions to the industry. 😊 🌊
