🚀VunaPay Signs MOU with Commodities Fund, Kenya! 🇰🇪 We are thrilled to announce that VunaPay has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commodities Fund, Kenya, a fund providing easily accessible and affordable credit to the agricultural sector in Kenya. This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in our mission to empower agricultural cooperatives and smallholder farmers through cutting-edge Agri-FinTech solutions. Ms. Nancy Cheruiyot, Managing Trustee/CEO of the Commodities Fund, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “It is our desire to encourage adoption of IT technologies by the farming community. With consent and instructions from the cooperatives, the Commodities Fund will be able to deliver credit to societies and farmers via the VunaPay platform.” Together with the Commodities Fund, we aim to digitise cooperatives across the agricultural value chains, enhancing data and financial management for more efficient operations. Additionally, this collaboration will enable us to provide affordable financing options to smallholder farmers and their cooperatives, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
