HOW YOU CAN REVAMP A WINNING CV)RESUME ................................................................. ✅Use an inverted pyramid structure to write your CV e.g from most relevant to less relevant. ✅Put a catchy executive/professional summary at the beginning. ✅ Indicate any accomplishments/achievements you have that are education and work-related. ✅Indicate your work history from current to later positions. ✅NEVER put a photo on your CV/resume. ✅ Always put education after work experience, never put it before. ✅ Stick to 2 pager CV or less for the CV to be impactful. ✅ Put only relevant content in your CV. Don't include primary education, hobbies, DoB, Marital status, etc. ✅ Let your CV/resume communicate your value to the hiring manager as quickly as possible. ✅ Include quantifiable experience in work history and accomplishments. NEVER put duties and responsibilities without structuring them in firm tasks assigned, action taken and results. ✅Use strong active Verbs in writing your experiences under the work history. ✅ Use present participle tense e.g present participle in the current position e g 'Manages' and past tense in the previous/past positions e.g managed. ✅ Ensure your CV/resume is ATS compliant (google to get the meaning and how it works). Most hiring managers use ATS to longlist and shortlist. ✅ An ATS complaint CV/Resume is less colorful but rich in content and 2 pages at most. ✅ List key skills/competencies and abilities after the executive summary. ✅No need to include reference information.
