I don't have a catchy hook today! (But I am requesting for a minute of your time.😆) Thank you for stopping by. Let me share a quick story with you. A few years ago, I was part of a project team working on a challenging construction project. We encountered unexpected delays, communication breakdowns, and budget overruns. All the known signs of a project leading that is headed to failure! I was a newbie in the field of project management and I didn't know how to handle some project challenges then. Amidst this chaos, our project leader, Lilian, stood out with exceptional leadership skills. I was keenly learning from her leadership style. She was easy and seemed like nothing pressured her at any time. This got my attention and I decided to approach her and know how she managed. So, today, I'm thrilled to share with you "10 Habits of Highly Effective Project Leaders" that I picked from her and have proven useful in my journey.  1. 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Prioritize open and transparent communication at all times.       2. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: Meticulous planning, foreseeing potential roadblocks and planning accordingly.       3. 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Embrace change and act quickly to adapt to unexpected developments.       4. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:  Empower your team, foster a culture of trust and accountability.       5. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: Be committed to ongoing learning and self-improvement.       6. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Make well-informed and timely decisions, even in high-pressure situations.       7. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Actively engage and manage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.       8. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴: Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, encouraging the same in your team.       9. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Remain resilient in the face of setbacks, inspire your team to do the same.      10. 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Recognize and celebrate both small and big wins, foster a positive team spirit.      That's it!  The list I have been using and improving since I learnt it from Lilian! These habits are not just for project leaders, but for anyone looking to elevate their leadership skills. PS: Which habit resonates with you the most? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences Happy New Week!! #newweek #founderstories #projectmanagement #processimprovement
