Meet our latest addition to the Hamburg Express Class: our stunning “Gdansk Express“! 🚢 🎉 This beauty was officially welcomed into the Hapag-Lloyd family during a vibrant christening ceremony at the Hanwha Ocean shipyard in South Korea. The Patron, Dr. Magdalena Adamowicz, a member of the European Parliament and wife of Gdańsk’s former president, proudly performed the christening. As the 8th addition to join this vessel class, we’re thrilled to expand our fleet and pave the way for more sustainable shipping, all while aiming for a climate-neutral fleet by 2045. 🌱 We wish the crew a safe maiden voyage and look forward to seeing this new marvel grace the high seas.
