🚀 On this International Day Of The Girl, we are reminded of the resilience, hope, and power of girls. Girls who, despite facing challenges such as early marriages and poverty—continue to rise with strength and bold dreams for a better tomorrow. 💪 They are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the change-makers of today—fighting for a world where every girl is protected, respected, and empowered. 🌟 We hosted a few of our girls this week at our main office. They spent the day with the leadership team learning about the work we do. They shared their dreams and hopes for the future. 🌸 The time is now. It’s time to believe in girls’ visions for the future, to accelerate progress, and to break every barrier that stands in their way. 🔗To sponsor a learner visit our website to learn more 👇🏾 https://lnkd.in/g7_PBHea #GenderEquality #EducationForAll #VisionForTheFuture #DayOfTheGirl #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild #IDG2024 #GirlGoals

🧠💔 Mental Health Awareness Day: Let’s Break the Silence 💔🧠 ⚕️Every year, millions of people around the world silently struggle with mental health issues, and Kenya is no exception. Did you know that according to the Kenya Mental Health Policy 2015-2030 and various studies by the World Health Organization (WHO) approximately 1 in 4 Kenyans will experience a mental health issue in their lifetime? 🌍 This means that in a country of over 54 million people, about 13.5 million individuals face mental health challenges. Yet, despite this staggering statistic, mental health remains a topic shrouded in stigma and misunderstanding. 🇰🇪 In Kenya, less than 20% of people with mental health conditions receive the care they need, a figure highlighted by the WHO and various mental health organizations. 📋This gap is not just a statistic—it represents our friends, family, and colleagues who may be suffering in silence. 💔 Mental health is not just a personal issue; it’s a societal one. Every day, people go to work, attend school, and engage in their communities while battling unseen struggles. They smile, laugh, and go about their lives, but the weight of anxiety, depression, and stress can feel unbearable. At Bridge, we believe that mental health matters. That’s why we are committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone feels safe to share their struggles. Here are some ways we’re making a difference: 🌟 Open Conversations: We encourage discussions about mental health, ensuring that our employees know it’s okay to not be okay. 🌿 Support Systems: We provide resources and access to counseling services for those in need. 💬 Mental Health Days: We advocate for taking time off to recharge and prioritize mental well-being, normalizing self-care in our workplace. As we raise our voices for mental health awareness, let’s remember that mental health is just as important as physical health. 🌈 You are not alone. Your struggles are valid. Your voice matters. #MentalHealthAwareness #BreakTheSilence #MentalHealthMatters #KenyaMentalHealth #SupportEachOther

🌿 Today, we proudly come together as a nation to celebrate Mazingira Day—a day dedicated to reflecting on our responsibility to protect and preserve 🇰🇪 environment. 🌱 Derived from the Swahili word for "environment," Mazingira Day is a powerful reminder of the need to safeguard our rich natural heritage—our forests, rivers, wildlife, and landscapes—for generations to come. Kenya has long been blessed with unparalleled biodiversity, but we also face significant environmental challenges. 🌳According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Kenya loses approximately 12,000 hectares of forest every year due to deforestation. Tackling this, along with issues like pollution and climate change, is essential for protecting our environment. Join the nation today by participating in: 🌱 Tree planting drives to combat deforestation. 🗑️ Clean-up campaigns to tackle waste and pollution. 📚 Educational programs to promote environmental awareness among the youth. 🌍 Discussions on climate change, wildlife conservation, and renewable energy. 🌳At Bridge, we are taking action by planting trees in several of our schools. We invite you to join the movement as we work together to create a cleaner, greener environment for future generations. 🌿Together, we can ensure that Kenya’s natural beauty and biodiversity thrive, not just for us, but for those who come after us. Happy Mazingira Day 🇰🇪 #MazingiraDay2024 #GoGreenKenya #PlantTreesSaveLives #SustainableKenya #ClimateChange #SaveTheWorld

🌸As we gear up to celebrate International Day of the Girl Child on October 11th, we hosted an amazing group of Grade 6 pupils from some of our Bridge Schools at our Bridge Main Office – Tulip House. 💼With this year’s theme, “Girls' Vision for the Future,” the day was all about mentoring these young girls to dream big. They spent time with incredible women leaders from our team, People Director Beatrice Waweru, Operations Director Esdora Rebecca Ochola, Academics Director Veronica Kimani. ⭐The girls also got to meet our Managing Director Griffin C., who shared his journey and gave them a closer look at what it means to be a strong, effective leader. 🚀As the day came to a close, and they returned to the hustle and bustle of school life, these girls walked away not only with renewed purpose but also empowered by the wisdom and stories of women who have made an impact in the areas they dream of exploring. 🌍 The main takeaway? Every girl deserves the chance to turn her vision into reality. Here’s to the girls of today, who will become the leaders and change-makers of tomorrow! #GirlsVisionForTheFuture #EmpowerHer #GirlsLead #DreamBig #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild
