Kubota North America Corporation Acquires a Company Providing Specialty Crop Monitoring Services Kubota Corporation and Kubota North America Corporation announced the acquisition of a US-based AgTech startup company, Bloomfield Robotics, Inc. Bloomfield Robotics, which will become a subsidiary of Kubota North America, specializes providing crop monitoring services using image analysis technology and AI. The acquisition will accelerate the development of crop monitoring technologies for integration into agricultural machinery, thereby enabling Kubota more efficient in developing and delivering solutions to the specialty crop market. Kubota to Renew Its Production Equipment of Cracking Tubes for the Petrochemical and Hydrogen Markets Aiming to expand production capacity and meet the growing demands of the hydrogen sector, Kubota will upgrade all melting and casting equipment in the existing cracking tube production equipment at the Hirakata Plant (Hirakata-shi, Osaka) with state-of-the-art equipment. Kubota will increase its current melting and casting capacity to approximately 230% by 2030 to address the high demand in the petrochemical market. We will also enhance our production system in preparation for expansion into new hydrogen-related markets, where demand is expected to grow in line with the global carbon neutrality trend. Looking Back the History -- Expo '70, Kubota Pavilion Next year, Kubota will be exhibiting the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. More than 50 years ago, at Expo '70, the Japan World Exposition 1970, Kubota constructed its unique Kubota Pavilion, which consisted of buildings and a garden featuring a waterfall. We exhibited independently at the Kubota Pavilion under the theme of Bountiful Harvest. The harmony between nature and society was expressed through the structures and exhibits.
