🌟 Welcoming SPD members of parliament Saskia Esken, Nadine Heselhaus MdB, and Carlos Kasper to our Stollberg location yesterday was a true honor. 🚀Dr. Uwe Horn, Mirko Taubenreuther and Michael Clauß 🕊️ led through the program and presented technical innovations that inspire: The autonomous #HEAT Shuttle, which has already been successfully on the road in Hamburg's Hafencity for two years, and the #Erzmobil - a shuttle that flexibly takes passengers from A to B in the rural region of the Erzgebirge. Another highlight was the outlook on the battery systems of the future by Michael Clauß, who emphasized the importance of sustainable energy solutions directly at the exhibit. 📚 In addition, Jörn Klenner shared valuable insights into our training program, which is offered to IAV employees in response to current challenges such as the realignment of the automotive industry and the shortage of skilled workers. Last week, an intensive emergency exercise took place in Gräfelfing (Munich district), which IAV Vehicle Safety carried out together with various rescue organizations. The participants were confronted with a challenging scenario that was considered a real-life operation until they arrived at the scene of the accident. 🚒🚑 The exercise involved two vehicles involved in an accident and a cyclist with seven "casualties", who were portrayed by realistic accident actors and provided an authentic experience. 🚗🚴♂️🤕 More than 70 emergency services from the Gräfelfing volunteer fire department, Malteser, BRK Munich, MKT Munich and the Bauhof Gräfelfing were involved. The exercise took place in the middle of city traffic and presented the teams with additional challenges. 🚦👨🚒👩⚕️ More than six months of planning went into the preparation of this major exercise, which provided an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the organizations and improve response capabilities in emergency situations. 📅🤝 A big thank you to everyone involved for their commitment and professionalism. 👏👏 #emergency_exercise #fire_brigade #rescue_service #teamwork #IAV_vehicle_Safety
