We are thrilled to announce that Synergos Companies has expanded into Florida through the acquisition of ODC Construction, LLC. Synergos operates the North American business of Asahi Kasei Homes, providing an important source of growth as part of the Asahi Kasei Group’s “10 Growth Gears” (GG10) businesses. In 2023, Florida ranked second among the 50 states in terms of the number of residential building permits, and strong housing demand in the state is expected to continue. ODC, a Florida-based subcontractor performing residential construction work, is well suited to integrate into the Synergos model and contribute to Asahi Kasei's growth going forward. Asahi Kasei Homes, Synergos, and ODC anticipate significant synergy by leveraging each other’s expertise and know-how, aiming to further improve the efficiency and quality of construction work. R290 is a natural refrigerant with low environmental impact. While highly efficient, its flammability requires careful handling and installation. To ensure safe operation with this highly flammable refrigerant, Senseair a Swedish subsidiary of Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM)has developed "Sunlight R290." Sunlight R290 is a gas sensor featuring high measurement accuracy and operating range while minimizing heat generation, packaging space, and power consumption. It is available in a standalone refrigerant detection system, while the RDS R290 allows for leak detection with easy installation. High-volume shipments of Sunlight R290 are scheduled to begin in September 2024. To learn more, visit https://lnkd.in/egm-JRwq #AsahiKaseiMicrodevices #GasSensor

We are proud to share our participation in the "Girls Meet STEM Career" program, organized by the Shintaro Yamada D&I Foundation. This initiative is designed to inspire and empower female junior high and high school students by providing them with hands-on experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields. Japan currently has one of the lowest rates of women pursuing STEM degrees, with only 19% of female students entering university in these fields. By engaging with young women early in their academic journeys, we hope to contribute to a shift in these statistics, encouraging more women to see STEM as a viable, rewarding, and exciting career path. Our participation in Girls Meet STEM Career aligns with our commitment to nurturing the next generation.
