Who is Juniver for?
Juniver is for anyone who wants to change their relationship with food. Maybe you’ve been diagnosed with an eating disorder but haven’t found any treatments that have worked for you. Maybe you’re worried about the amount of time you spend thinking about food and your body. Juniver works for everyone who wants to approach the relationship between food and their body differently.
How does Juniver work?
Juniver is a neuroscience-based program created by eating disorder clinical experts and a team with experience recovering from eating disorders. You’ll learn the simple principles of habit-formation and how to leverage neuroplasticity – your brain’s natural ability to learn and unlearn habits – to stop binge-eating, purging, or restricting, for good. I’m worried about my relationship with food.
While Juniver will not diagnose you with an eating disorder, in our experience, if your relationship with food, weight, exercise or body image is affecting your quality of life it’s worth changing it – diagnosis or not. Juniver’s here to help you do just that.
Do I need to meet the diagnostic criteria for an eating disorder?
Eating disorders have strict diagnostic criteria around eating behaviors, weight, and mental and physical wellbeing. But these don't necessarily give the full picture. You don’t need anyone to validate your experience that you have an unhappy, unhealthy, unwanted relationship with food. If you’re ready to change, we’re here to help.
Can I access Juniver on-demand?
We’ve built Juniver around you. You can use it anywhere, anytime you need help.
Is there an age range for using Juniver?
Juniver is for everyone aged 16 and older. Juniver can help during all of life’s transitions – from your young adulthood, through to pregnancy (⅓ of pregnant women binge) and through menopause (29% of menopausal women are dissatisfied with their eating patterns). Juniver is available to female, male, and non-binary folks.
Can I use Juniver alongside other treatments?
Yes. Juniver can be used on its own, or alongside therapy, programs such as Overeaters Anonymous, or medication. Whatever helps you get better is a good thing.
Is Juniver a medical program?
Juniver is not a medical program. If you are facing an emergency, seek medical attention immediately.
