We are immensely proud to announce that our very own Head of Textiles, Mrs Leah Holliday, won Teacher of the Year at the Pride of Jersey awards last night! Congratulations also to Miss Alexis Robins, one of our Primary Teaching Assistants, who was also one of the three finalists. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and excellence within our school community — something we’re immensely proud of.

It was wonderful to see our former pupil, Belle Jégard, featured in the news for her remarkable painting successes. https://lnkd.in/ddEhQcxx Belle is currently exhibiting at JARO Gallery in York Street as part of the Oceana exhibition, which is running until Saturday 9th November.

Year 3 had an amazing trip to La Hougue Bie, where they dove into life during the Stone Age. They explored replica tools and weapons, ventured inside the Long House, and even tried their hands at grinding seeds to make flour. They also polished flint, just as it would have been prepared for use in weapons.

This week, our Year 6 French pupils transformed into doctors and nurses, ready to diagnose imaginary ailments and skillfully apply bandages! The poorly 'patients' hobbled and groaned, impressing us all with their dramatic coughs, cuts and bruises, as well as their wonderful use of French medical vocabulary!
