What an incredible weekend! Was great to have joined the team from Slingshot Films to provide the aerial imagery for their brilliant livestream of the GB Cup surf competition here in Jersey! An amazing 3 days with stunning weather for late October and good swell delivering an epic competition for the teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Channel Islands. Managed to grab a few stills between the filming and remembered how much I absolutely love shooting surf imagery! GB Surfing Visit Jersey ROXY Surfing England Rip Curl O'Neill

Decided to pop down on to the beach last night to see if I could get a glimpse of the aurora and was blown away by the display!! Even from the south coast, with the light pollution, it was epic so must have been amazing from the north coast!

For the last four years I have very fortunate to work with an incredible athlete as she attempted to complete the Ocean’s Seven challenge. German open water swimmer Nathalie Pohl has dedicated the last 10 years to achieving her dream to complete the seven mega ocean swims and last week I was there to capture her completing the final swim across the north channel between Ireland and Scotland in around 12+ hours!! We first met when she came to Jersey for a training swim from Jersey to France, and subsequently broke the record!! I photographed & filmed the swim with conventional cameras, drone & underwater and this started a fantastic few years witnessing Nathalie’s natural talent for long distance swimming! To be there capturing the moment she completed her dream was emotional and a true testament to what the human body and mind are capable of! NB: the Ocean’s Seven challenge is made up of seven of the toughest open water swims around the world including English Channel, north channel Hawaii, Japan, New Zealand, Gibraltar and Catalina.

Last week I was honoured to be asked to capture a photo of all of our amazing local RNLI Lifeboat personnel including the crews, lifeguards, management, guild and volunteers to celebrate their 200th Anniversary! Shot at 18.24 on 1.8.24 to celebrate the 1824 date, this was a very special shoot and was replicated by lifeboat crews all around the UK! I was thrilled to see the shot published in the Times newspaper the following day! Happy 200th RNLI and thank you to all the crews past, present and future that risk their lives to help those in need 🙌🏼👏🏼 #dronephotography #aerialphotography #dji #mavic3pro DJI

Popped down the beach last night!!! When I looked out from the balcony before heading to bed and saw the milky way shining bright right in front of me, I decided to walk down to the beach to see if I could capture anything. I’m pretty glad that I did! 📸 Sony a7rv & 16-35mm GM Visit Jersey
