ジョナサン・ヒックマン（Jonathan Hickman）は、アメリカ合衆国のアメリカン・コミックスのライター、アーティストである。イメージ・コミックで『The Nightly News』、『The Manhattan Projects』、『East of West』を立ち上げ、またマーベルコミックスで『ファンタスティック・フォー』、『FF』、『S.H.I.E.L.D.』などのライターを務めたことで知られる。2012年に『ファンタスティック・フォー』を降板した後はマーベルNOW!でリランチされた『アベンジャーズ』と『ニューアベンジャーズ』のライターとなった。
キャリア
[編集]ヒックマンは2006年にイメージ・コミックで『The Nightly News』を執筆し[1]、またマーベルコミックスの『Legion of Monsters』のストーリー「N'Kantu, the Living Mummy: MustDie/EatSoul」を手がけた[2]。
ヴァージン・コミックスではアンディ・ディグルの『Guy Ritchie's Gamekeeper』[3]やガース・エニスの『Seven Brothers』のカバーをデザインした。2008年にはトップ・カウの『Pilot Season』で「The Core」を執筆した。この他にイメージでは『Pax Romana』[4]、『Red Mass for Mars』[5][6]、『Transhuman』、『The Red Wing』を手がけた.[7]。
2008年2月12日、ヒックマンはIFanboyのコラム「Concentric Circles」の執筆を始めた[8]。
ヒックマンはブライアン・マイケル・ベンディスとトム・ブレヴォートとコラボレーションし、ニック・フューリー率いる超能力者の秘密チームの活動を描いた『シークレット・ウォーリアーズ』を執筆した[9][10]。また彼は後にリミテッドシリーズ『S.H.I.E.L.D.』も執筆した[11][12][13][14]。ヒックマンとアーティストのシェーン・チェンはリミテッドシリーズ『ダークレイン: ファンタスティック・フォー』（2009年5月 - 9月）を手がけた[15][16]。その後ヒックマンはメインの『ファンタスティック・フォー』誌のライターに第570号（2009年10月）から就任した。「スリー」のストーリーラインは『ファンタスティック・フォー』第587号（2011年3月）で終了し、ネガティブ・ゾーンから押し寄せるモンスターを食い止めて死亡したと思われるヒューマン・トーチが描かれた。『ファンタスティック・フォー』は翌第588号で終了し、2011年3月より新たに『FF』の題でリランチされた[17][18][19] 。ヒックマンは2012年に『ファンタスティック・フォー』を降板し、新たに『アベンジャーズ』と『ニューアベンジャーズ』のライターに就任した[20][21]。2013年にヒックマンはリミテッドシリーズ『Infinity』を執筆した[22]。
