I used to think that the #coaching #competency, Establishing & Maintaining Agreements, focused on the written and verbal contract with the client. However, as I grew in my coaching practice, I realized it was about establishing the coaching #agenda, confirming what the client wants to achieve, and how I and my coachee will partner to measure success. 📈 Yes, how you will approach the coaching partnership is included, too. However, this competency is more about how you and your client agree to show up or partner on the agenda and the outcome during the session. It is important to note that this competency should show up at least 10 minutes within the coaching session for a session that is approximately 30+ minutes long. #CoachingCompetency #CoachTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment #ReidReady
