Rizzani de Eccher subsidiary in Mexico has been awarded by OPCEM (a subsidiary of highway concessionaire ALEATICA) a contract for the design, supply and replacement of TENSA elastomeric bearings on various viaducts of the Enlace Circuito Exterior Mexiquense - Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Angeles (CEM-AIFA), north of Mexico City. Rizzani de Eccher scope of works includes the demolition of some existing bearing plinths and seismic blocks in order to accommodate the new bearings. Bearings have been specially designed to comply with project designer IDEAM requirements in terms of horizontal displacement of 2 times the neoprene height as can be seen on the video. Works are expected to be completed by 1st quarter of 2024.
