More than 650 delegates - 300 with LP positions and 350 with GP positions - representing over 300 investment funds and private equity players, i.e. a significant network of potential investors in Milano. These are the numbers of the Zero One Hundred Conferences Mediterranean, the transnational get-together of the world of private equity and venture capital held in Milano from October 28-30. For two days Palazzo Mezzanotte, the art deco headquarters of Borsa Italiana, turned into a dynamic hub connecting global investors, business innovators and public institutions. The event is the result of the collaboration between Zero One Hundred Conferences, the Department of Economic Development of the City of Milano, and Milano & Partners whose Director General Fiorenza Lipparini (pic) had the chance to address attendees on the opportunity to invest in Milano leveraging four pillars: public and private sector cooperation; universities and talent pool; financial ecosystem; quality of life.

The city is implementing Smart Mobility solutions to improve urban life, reduce congestion and promote intermodal, sustainable mobility through public transportation and car, bicycle, scooter and moped sharing. Here are some of our Milano's strengths: • Integrated Transport System: Milano offers an integrated transit network combining 5 metro subway lines, suburban rail, electric trams and low- or no-emissions buses, as well as diffused municipal bike sharing, to make it easier for residents and visitors to get around the city. • Expansion of the Metro Network: The subway network has grown to 102 km with the upcoming new metro line, already operating between Linate Airport and downtown Milano. There are currently 36.9 stations per million inhabitants. • Bike Lanes: The city has added 16 km to its bike lanes in 2023, reaching a total length of 328 km, part of a drive to encourage bicycle mobility. • Low-Emission Mobility: In 2022, 15.3% of cars in Milano were low-emission vehicles, a 2.7% increase from 2021, placing the city just behind Munich in the EU. • Electric Vehicle Infrastructure: Milano has invested significantly in EV infrastructure, with 421 charging stations and 1,946 charging points per million inhabitants in 2023.
