Marsilli Virtual Tour #5 The Technical Office Once the Engineering office has completed the offer layout and the project has been awarded, it goes to our Technical Office in order to be worked. So, let's enter in the Tech Office and see what happens here. The technical office has various tasks to carry out. The whole Dept. is composed of more than 100 skilled engineers organized in smaller teams where all the competences are capitalized. Here, the project is introduced by the Engineering Dept. and distributed to the different teams according to the competences. From now on the teams start developing electrical and pneumatical schemes, mechanical drawings using both 2D and 3D software modeling. This complex job ends up to the finest detail: the smallest screw, the single wire. Together with these tasks, the software engineers start programming the functionalities. The Technical Office manages the full verticalization transforming an idea into an equipment. All done in-house. This makes the final result optimal and satisfactory. It's a complex process which requires method, highly skilled staff, but most of all, a lot of passion. #marsilli #winding #innovation #technicaloffice

Water pumps are one of those things we use daily without realising it - at least until they break down. In fact, it is thanks to pumping that we have clean water from our sinks, that we irrigate our gardens, and many other applications that we don't even imagine.   On an industrial level, then, water pumps take on even greater importance. They are, of course, much larger and more powerful, and they serve slightly different purposes, although the function remains the same.   In fact, these industrial pumps are used to remove excess water from construction sites; to pump water away from areas flooded by heavy rain; but they are also used for various production processes, from cooling to extraction, and many other applications.   One of the key components that runs the pump and allows it to release the necessary power is, of course, a stator. Given the applications we were talking about, this motor must be extremely high-performance and reliable, and therefore manufactured with extreme precision, every step must be traceable. Marsilli virtual tour # 4   Have you ever wondered how Marsilli machines are created? Well, to find it out, let's enter together the Engineering office in Castelleone, where everything begins.   The very first step is, of course, the request from customer, who also provides the technical specifications of the final product to be manufactured and for which he needs a machine. The Engineering team analyses them carefully down to the smallest detail, and then proceeds to design the production process for the product. Does it begin with the parts loading? Is the loading manual or automatic? Or does the process begin directly with winding? Do the parts need to be assembled? What about welding? These are some of the fundamental questions, which, if not answered by the specifications provided, are ask them directly to the customer during preparatory meetings.   When everything is clear, a layout is sketched out: not all components are defined, that is the work of the Technical Department... and this is yet to come in the following weeks. However, all the units are already in place: winding, conveyor system, the assembly processes… these are all solutions that have been thought and defined in order to provide the customer with the very best possible system in terms of efficiency and productivity. In order to do this, the Engineering team also frequently engages the R&D colleagues, software designers, laboratory technicians and other key persons.   When the layout is fine tuned, in addition to the technical offer, the economic offer is also prepared.
