According to the latest data from the U.S. Department of Energy, clean energy employment grew at more than twice the rate of the overall economy, adding 142,000 jobs in 2023 alone, representing roughly 5% of all new jobs created nationwide. 🔑 Key highlights: 1️⃣ Investment impact: Since the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was passed in August 2022, nearly $500 billion has been directed towards clean energy technologies. This has led to over $1.5 trillion in private investment, creating more than 334,000 jobs 2️⃣ Higher wages and accessibility: Clean energy jobs offer wages 21% higher than the national average.
