Deal provides services that range from conceptual and detailed design of pre-fabrication and erection systems, to the design and supply of specialised equipment such as launching trusses, straddle carriers, gantry cranes, casting machines as well as other custom lifting, moving and casting devices.

The equipment will be capable not only to handle containers and trailers from train to road and vice-versa, but a sophisticated software installed on the carrier will allow the automatic driving as well the registration of the storage position of each container/trailer.   • The bridge over the Daugava River has a total length of 585,2 m, measured along the longitudinal axis. The bridge is an 8-span post-tensioned concrete continuous bridge with expansion joints located at its extremities Abutment 0 and Pier at axis 8. The presence of adjacent existing bridge drove the design of the new bridge towards a slender and smooth shape. A single box girder with variable height, curved edges and the lowest possible depth/span ratio for a railway bridge were adopted. The piers in the river are composed by a cylindrical shaft headed by a simple conical shaped capital. The cylindrical pier is progressively enlarged towards the bottom, in the water flow direction, with a rounded cutwater and are aligned with the existing bridge columns. DEAL, collaborating with BERERIX is honored to have contributed to the structural design of this remarkable bridge, which will become a landmark in Riga.

    Another milestone has been reached for the Rail Baltica project📢 Construction of the #RailBaltica bridge over the #Daugava river commences in #Riga! 🚧🚄As part of the ongoing development of the Rail Baltica Central Hub in the capital city of Latvia, the construction is being carried out by the construction consortium BERERIX, with construction supervision provided by Egis-Deutsche Bahn. The construction of the bridge begins with the erection of two supports on the right bank of the Daugava, and in the spring, the first support will be built in the water. 💬“The construction of the bridge is the next significant phase in connecting Riga’s center to the airport, which must commence to ensure passenger transport for Rail Baltica by 2030. The capacity of the existing railway bridge is close to the maximum for both passenger and freight flows, necessitating the construction of a new bridge,” explains Kaspars Vingris, Chairman of the Management Board at Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas | Rail Baltica. “The bridge construction project is an excellent testament to the engineering capability to reconcile the necessary loads and durability of railway infrastructure with the requirements of the UNESCO historical center.” 💬“The start of the construction of the Daugava Bridge is a highly anticipated event for both the project team and the public. In shaping the center of Riga for the next hundred years, as builders, we had to consider various significant factors during the bridge design phase, including achieving the seamless integration of the bridge into the city’s panorama without obstructing one of Riga’s landmarks – the existing railway bridge’s arch structure. We appreciate that the BERERIX team comprises highly skilled professionals in bridge construction, our Italian colleagues, who boast extensive international experience in bridge design and construction.   • From a vision to reality! In Cancun (state of Quintana Roo) for the Nichuptè Bridge, the revolutionary “Top-down launching girder” has been successfully load tested and it has started its construction activities! First time in the history of the construction industry, the patented equipment allows to apply both the technologies of driven and drilled piles; therefore the horizon of the application of this system widens infinitely: from bridges in environmental protected areas, to jetties effected by tidal high water depth variation, to regions hit by wind, waves and currents. The Nichuptè Bridge has a total length of 8 kilometers and Deal, worldwide leader in design and fabrication of innovative solutions for bridge construction, is involved in the completion of the most critical part of the route which crosses an environmental mangroves reserve.

  • In Cancun (state of Quintana Roo), the assembling of the revolutionary “Top-down launching girder” has started! The innovative technology allows to build a section of the Nichuptè Bridge through a construction methodology able to safeguard the environment and to minimize impacts during the construction phases. The bridge has a total length of 8 kilometers and DEAL will be involved in the development of the most critical part of the route which crosses an environmental mangroves reserve.   This project is yet another improvement in the newly-developed technology developed and trademarked by DEAL over the years, after its major applications in cutting-edge projects in the United States, Colombia, Morocco, Mozambique.
