From Piazza della Signoria, in front of Palazzo Vecchio and the frieze that inspired the C68 Fleur-de-lys, the riders of the UAE Team Emirates marched towards Piazzale Michelangelo, the viewpoint over Florence. Tadej Pogacar, who will have the rank of captain in a team full of stars - Juan Ayuso, Nils Plitt, Pavel Sivakov, Marc Soler, Tim Wellens, Adam Yates e Joao Almeida - took part in the presentation ceremony with the edition n.1/111 of the C68 Fleur-de-lys, the bike that Colnago created to pay homage to the Grand Départ and the Tour de France. A special bike, with blue metal gold livery, which, diffrently from the others 110 exemplars, has the front logo made of solid gold. And after the show of yesterday evening, everything is set to start the most important race of the year, the 111th edition of the Tour de France. A historic premiere is approaching: next June 29, the Tour de France will start from Italy.
