Opened in 2010, the 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐞 was chosen as a stop of the Corporate Museums – Discovering Evolved Industrial Districts initiative, held on 𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟕 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 and sponsored by key institutional partners including Confindustria Veneto Est, Nord Est Multimedia Spa (NEM) and Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. The innovative itinerary across industrial tourism sites offered visitors the chance to discover the 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 of the local territory, highlighting the key role played by 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 in our region’s industrial landscape. Last week Benetton Group attended the ZDHC Regional Conference held in Turkey, an opportunity for sharing experiences and solutions within the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme. At the virtual conference, Fabiana Morandi, PhD, from our Operations Sustainability team, delivered a speech on the 𝐈𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗖𝗠 (𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴) removing toxic chemicals from the supply chain, a key topic for all stakeholders involved. The event marked the conclusion of a year-long series of training sessions, i.e. ZDHC InConnect, which saw the involvement of 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬. The 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 girls’ collection will mark the international launch of the eponymous movie, a spin-off of the original 𝐓𝐢𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧’s 1988 blockbuster.
