Celebrating 70 years of the Taormina Film Festival Launching in 1955, the festival originally alternated between Taormina and Messina, before laying down permanent roots from 1971 onwards, benefitting from Taormina’s cerulean Ionian Sea, the smoking Mount Etna skyline and, of course, the Teatro Antico. This week Michelin-starred Chef Roberto Toro celebrates his membership in the family of the KRUG Champagne Ambassade in Italy with Krug X Flower, a special dinner at Otto Geleng that combines flowers with local Sicilian products. In this same week, Noto's Infiorata transforms the streets of the Baroque town into a carpet of flowers and petals that recreate a striking effect against the buildings' softly gilded colors, leaving everyone mesmerized by the artistic beauty created by man and nature. - Questa settimana lo chef stellato Roberto Toro celebra la sua appartenenza alla famiglia della KRUG Ambassade in Italia con Krug X Flower, una cena speciale a Otto Geleng che ha unito i fiori ai prodotti locali siciliani. Belmond Legends at Identità Golose Last night Belmond invited some of its chefs and barmen at Identità Golose, an international hub of gastronomy and culinary arts. Our talents brought the flavours of Tuscany, Sicily, Campania and Madeira to Milan. Barmen Luciano Ferlito from Villa San Michele and Fabio Rossella from Villa Sant’Andrea opened the special night with their signature cocktails. Chefs Armando Aristarco, Daniele Sera, Josè Diogo Costa and our Roberto Toro joined hands to create a special menu. Each of their culinary philosophies transported guests on an unparalleled gastronomic journey. - Belmond Legends a Identità Golose Ieri sera Belmond ha invitato alcuni dei suoi chef e barman a Identità Golose, polo internazionale di gastronomia e arte culinaria.
