"ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel as seen by Carlo Valsecchi" (published by Silvana Editoriale S.p.A.) collects some of the most important projects designed by our studio through photographs by the artist Carlo Valsecchi. The volume, enriched with contributions from leading figures in the world of design, art, and architecture, inspired the photography exhibition (Palazzo Morando, Milan, spring 2024) which showcased the artist’s 12-year-long journey through spaces designed by our firm. In Valsecchi’s images, architectural spaces seamlessly integrate with the landscape in a process of exchange between architecture and the city’s complexity. ACPV ARCHITECTS' in-house digital unit ACPVX, is launching a new research project in collaboration with Santagostino, the network of specialized medical clinics of Gruppo Unipol. The pilot project includes an initial data collection phase which, thanks to IoT, allows for measuring the quality of life in a building. During the second phase, the collected data will enable the development of design methodologies for offices, hospital buildings, and hospitality facilities - improving not only people’s quality of life, but also creating more sustainable buildings.
