Pear Martini
After purchasing a bottle of my new favorite liqueur, St. Germain, I was inspired to create a new cocktail recipe. As you can see, this Pear Martini was born โ and boy is she delicious.
It might even be my new favorite!
Yes, you can enjoy it on your own (and I have), but this is also the perfect drink to serve at a party. Itโs so fancy, and people will love this fruity martini garnished with fresh pear.
Keep reading, and Iโll share the entire recipe, along with some ideas for appetizers that pair well with this martini.
Easy Pear Martini Recipe
I hopped on over to the St. Germain website to do a little recipe research about how to use it in martinis. When I found a recipe for a pear martini, I knew Iโd struck gold. After a bit of testing and a few tweaks, I made this recipe my own.
With fall quickly approaching, I thought pear was more than appropriate. Plus, it gave me an excuse to pick up some pear vodka. However, to be honest, this Pear Martini would be delicious any time of the year.
Iโve always found the flavor of pears to be pretty incredible, even though I rarely eat them. Thatโs kind of weird, right? I suppose it makes it an extra special treat when I do have them.
What is in a Pear Martini:
- pear vodka
- St. Germain liqueur
- freshly squeezed lemon juice
- bitters
How to Make a Pear Martini
To make the best martini, youโll need a cocktail shaker. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and add the pear vodka, St. Germain, lemon juice, and bitters. Give it a nice shake, and then strain it into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of fresh pear.
How to Serve a Pear Martini
If you donโt have a martini glass, get one! It really makes sipping on a martini so much more fun (and feels pretty fancy too).
Since this martini is both sweet and dry at the same time, I suggest serving it with appetizers that have earthy and nutty flavors. Artichoke wonton wrappers are bite-sized snacks with a cheesy and savory flavor.
This martini will also taste delicious with some tender and cheesy roasted parmesan garlic shrimp. All the flavors mingle together perfectly.

What do you mix Absolut Pear with?
This martini is probably the easiest and best drink you can make with Absolut Pear. Want another way to use it? If you like bubbly drinks, then hereโs an easy idea: mix some Absolut Pear with your favorite lemon-lime soda and lime juice.
How many calories are in a pear martini?
In my pear martini, there are about 413 calories. This is all thanks to the calories in both the Absolut vodka and St. Germain.
Is there sugar in Absolut Pear vodka?
Absolut vodka doesnโt have any added sugar in it, but there are 98 calories in each shot.
Is a martini the same as a Manhattan?
They are very similar, but a martini is not the same as a Manhattan. A Manhattan is made with a mixture of rye whiskey and sweet vermouth, like in my apple cider Manhattan recipe.
Lots of people prefer to drink martinis made from vodka. Some people like simple martinis made from gin and dry vermouth. Since both drinks could contain vermouth, I see where the confusion might come from.

Tell me that doesnโt look and sound delicious.
And did you spot anything else in these pictures?
I used my DIY gold magnetic letters to style these photos. Total perfection, right? This is why I make and buy these things. They make photoshoots like this special and personal.
I also used a new-to-me vintage cocktail shaker I found when I was antiquing. I love incorporating vintage finds into my decor and entertaining tool kilt!
Now, while you sip on this delicious Pear Martini, Iโm off for a fabulous and fun-filled long weekend with my friends.
Whatโs on your weekend agenda? Have a happy one!

My husband and I make 100% pear wine. If you put it in a cocktail shaker with ice and a few leaves of fresh basil, shake strain and serve, it makes the most delicious “peartini”
If you don’t mind my asking, where did you find the square-ish martini glasses?
Of course I don’t. It was from Crate and Barrel about 4-5 years ago.

If you can find it, try St. Elder (Made up here in New England). It runs around $17 a bottle which is a really nice price compared to St. Germain. And the taste is very comparable.
