This phenomenology study was conducted to disclose the attributes that will be developed on Hip-h... more This phenomenology study was conducted to disclose the attributes that will be developed on Hip-hop dancing in considering Hip-hop as a recreational activity. Semi-structured interview was used in this study. The researcher made use of a recorder to transcribe verbatim response of the twelve (12) participants from Maa National High School. Findings showed that hip hop as a street dance developed self-expression, sense of belonging, force learning, observance of safety, physical dynamism, trends and stylization, dependability, and passion.
