"I wish all of them are able to achieve their dreams. I will do my best to help them in their aspirations." Tara Jadhav, a #SafaiMitra in Mumbai, has three daughters in high school, and one in senior college, who aspires to become an engineer. Through the #Utthaan initiative, a p'ship between Hindustan Unilever & UNDP in India, Tara enrolled in the eSHRAM portal and was able to get pre-matric educational scholarships for her kids. Her younger daughters were recently awarded educational scholarships that will take care of their school fees, books, and uniforms for one academic year. They also got career advice to help them with their future aspirations. Tara now encourages her fellow Safai Mitras to apply for various social welfare schemes. “I always share my own story first, and if that encourages someone, I feel happy. It is something my daughters taught me - to help one and all.” Read more such stories in the compendium: https://bit.ly/4dG30LA
