On the occasion of World Tourism Day 2024, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), we reaffirm our commitment to promoting sustainable and responsible tourism. Through our industry leading ESG+ framework of Paathya, we endeavour to foster inclusion and strengthen local economies. With 43 hotels now operating on 100% green energy, the portfolio currently derives 37% of its electrical energy from renewable sources, with a target of reaching 50% by 2030. To bridge the employability gap and support deserving youth and their families, we collaborate with state governments, institutions, and private organisations at 35 skill centers across 15 states and 25 cities, aiming to train 100,000 youths by 2030, having already trained 75% of our target focused on marginalised groups.
