Shwetdhara runs on the basis of Mutual Assistance Principles i.e voluntary membership, voting rights independent of shareholding, an elected board, limited dividend, education of members and co-operation with other organisations. The core objectives of the Company are as under: 1. To carry on the business of pooling, purchasing, processing of milk supplied by the members, marketing of the same and to deal in allied activities. 2. To provide or arrange to provide technical and managerial services in the areas of breeding, feed/ fodder, veterinary services to increase milk production for the benefit of the members. 3. To provide education, training and other activities to promote mutual assistance amongst the members. 4. To arrange to procure quality milk from members that meet the standards laid down by the organization and statutory authorities.

On 12th August, Shwetdhara, along with other Milk Producer Companies (MPCs) promoted and supported by NDDB Dairy Services (NDS), participated in a key meeting with Shri Meenesh Shah, Chairman of NDDB. This gathering, attended by Executive Directors, Advisors from NDDB, and the leadership team of NDS, was a significant part of their tour of NDDB and its affiliated institutes. During the meeting, MPO leaders, including our representatives, presented our achievements, outlined future goals, and discussed challenges related to enhancing animal productivity. Dr. Meenesh Shah reaffirmed NDDB's ongoing support through its subsidiaries like NDDB Dairy Services and Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. He emphasized the importance of MPOs in realizing NDDB’s vision and encouraged a greater focus on digitization and improving milk quality. He also urged us to adopt innovative technologies and increase operational efficiency to benefit farmers and consumers nationwide. The visit was further enriched by tours of NDDB’s display gallery ‘Parikrama’ and Amul Dairy, where we witnessed cutting-edge facilities in action.
