Hello all! Finally, after so long, I've got some news about our beloved Project Ungrounded, a game called Musical Spirits. This game delves into the alternate aspect of platformer games, where you take on the role of the floor (in this case a piano) supporting the main character. Things have certainly been pushed here, by introducing different gameplay varieties that are supported by my take on reverse platformer genre. This here is a little gameplay showcase video to give you an idea of how "you playing as the floor" idea has been applied in different ways. We just hit the 10k+ on downloads on our first published game! Our first game as Septarap Studios and my first comercial game as a audio designer! While we are working hard on bringing “Musical Spirits” to your computer screens, this little fella on Google Play Store keeps on growing - both, in Downloads count from players and in performance as per feedback from them! Barely 15 days in and our game has already crossed the 2nd milestone of over 5K downloads count!! It’s been a hot minute since the last update from us, I believe. A lot has happened between then and now, yet we have been burning the midnight oil in order to bring a quality title to the shelves! Along with the Project Ungrounded (now officially christened as Musical Spirits), Septarap Studio has also been working on an endless runner game called VaporWarp. Now, this is not your typical run-to-the-mill endless runner, mind you. Here, you always drive in either left or right direction, never going straight. Thus making you pay attention to the oncoming cars, in both directions! The game will be out for iOS devices by July the 4th, 2024. I just can’t wait to share this one with y’all!

[KEEP THE SOUND ON!! 🔊 🔊 ] In this day and age where AI is gearing up to dominate the gaming industry, we keep forgetting how creative and ORIGINAL the human handiwork can get! The intro for Septarap Studios (which would be different based on the game's theme) is just so brilliantly animated by Anuja Yengul, while the sound mixing and audio editing done by Leandro Polack is on-point! I am glad I'm working with humans and not bots.

[KEEP THE SOUND ON] Just a small snippet of "Musical Spirits", a musical platformer where the spirits of members of a certain cursed jazz band are trapped in various beer bottles and it's up to Sammy, the spirit of a dead pianist, to free them from their eternal confinement. How did the band members end up up in these beer bottles? Who put them in there? How did all of this even happen? Stay tuned to know it all!

Greetings from the Septarap Studios! We are gearing towards taking a big step taking our first ever game out of production phase and entering post-production soon. I am extremely happy with the progress we are making (despite several delays and ups & downs) and am excited to introduce "Musical Spirits" to the gamers who enjoy platforming games with musical focus in gameplay! Thanks to Leandro Polack for his awesome soundtracks, Anuja Yengul for the amazing 2.5D art direction and 3D modelling and Goodness Nwachukwu for a storyline that's equal parts engaging and interesting!
