4000+ orders !! Onboarded a fast food store that does that many orders a month yesterday. Installed and activated. Customer locations started flowing the same second 😂 The store team was too happy about it as its removes a major operational headache My hypothesis was that matured markets like US, China or India was not a the right fit for PinPointly: Shopify Customer Location Finder as the platform is used by stores operating on 1 or more delivery days timeline. Proven wrong, seems there are large stores operating quick delivery models via Shopify. Next challenge: to find out more of these kind of stores and reduce their operational headache 😎

MVP done ✅ Trial client activated ✅ Customers started using ✅ Next goal. Make 100% of customers to use it without impacting store conversions in any manner 🤔 First month usage - 25% We fixed a few things. The usage got up to 35%. Still too far because the idea dies if we cannot get to 100% We have got no money to invest on it than our times. Bootstrap founder woes 🥲 Enter Misbah Thevarmannil a wannabe UI/UX designer. Used Cousins leverage to get it done for free 😂 not proud about it but definitely paying back in the future. She took a week and got back to us with revamped UI. Take a look yourselves. Deployed it. Usage up > 75% 🤩 The day I also realised UI/UX can change the whole game in an instant. Moral : its not about building a product or getting your first customer. Learning about building a bootstrapped product for a particular niche of customers and this idea hit me. For eg. if you are in the soda drinks business its easy for you to go after the likes of Pepsi & Colas and try to stock up your products exactly the way they do across a large amount of shops. They do that because they need to be present in every shop when customers wants to buy one and have enough money power. As a bootstrapped small business, you will not have that. But there is an another way to execute this. Try to convince a few local cafeterias and coffee shops to stock your product. Do popup events in and around the area and garner your early customers. Sponsor a local football match or any sport whichever is popular in the area. As your get more customers, keep expanding slowly. That’s how you build your own niche.
