Understanding that good sight is crucial for school students, the Sight4All initiative, in collaboration with the Cognizant Foundation, Mission for Vision, and partners, addresses child eye health issues. One impactful story is Palmu’s transformation, overcoming barriers like access, affordability, availability, and acceptability of eye health services. This video shares Palmu’s transformational journey from vision impairment to clear sight, made possible by the collective efforts of the Cognizant Foundation, Mission for Vision, and Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital - India. Together with our donors and partners, we ensure government and government-aided school students across Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu receive essential eye screenings and care. We are dedicated to reaching marginalised communities with limited accessibility, bringing meaningful change to countless young lives. #Sight4All #AvoidableBlindness #VisionForAll #eyecare #LoveYourEyes #Transformation #SuccessStory https://lnkd.in/dzG4wc7y Cognizant Foundation

As part of the Mission Disha initiative, supported by CMS Foundation, we held an eye screening camp at a leading school in Kharghar on 29th June 2024 in collaboration with K.B. Haji Bachooali Hospital. The camp focused on enabling good eye health for the school bus drivers and attendants across the Airoli, Kalyan and Kharghar schools. 117 drivers and attendants were provided comprehensive eye examination and 33% were found to have refractive error and prescribed spectacles. The Mission Disha programme is critical for this group, given their daily responsibilities in transporting children between home and school. MFV and CMS Foundation are committed to making a difference by facilitating holistic eye health care for 7,500 drivers and support staff across Chennai and Mumbai this year and so far 1,383 drivers and support staff have been covered. This would enhance road safety, well-being, mobility and productivity for the community at large. CMS Info Systems encourages its employees to contribute towards social activities and acknowledges their time, thus fostering a culture of giving back to the community at large. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the senior team and employee volunteers of CMS Info Systems. #EyeHealth #RoadSafety #CommunitySupport #CMSInfoSystems #SchoolDrivers #CSR #EmployeeEngagement #CMSFoundation #sustainability

Mission for Vision reposted this
Grateful to Mission for Vision and VISION 2020 INDIA for providing me with this amazing platform to share my ideas on powerful storytelling, particularly in the realm of eye health. Despite battling a stubborn cold that left my voice hoarse/soft, and the challenge of condensing a lengthy topic into a brief 6-minute slot, I am thrilled to share that I successfully delivered my presentation to a room full of engaged audience.
