    Last week, Mintel unexpectedly lost a cherished member of our community, Zac Churchill. Zac came to Mintel from his beloved University of Iowa as an Account Executive, rose through the ranks, and had recently been elevated to managing a global team as the VP of Strategic Client Partnerships. He was a pillar of Mintel, having spent the past 22 years building and nurturing relationships with clients and colleagues, many of whom came to call him a friend. Mintel's culture is what it is because Zac helped create and foster it. There are many employees, clients and partners who have never known a Mintel without Zac. Zac was kind, caring, rooted harder for his colleagues than anyone else, and was a dedicated leader, mentor, and coach. His smile lit up a room, just like his jackets at the holiday parties. His karaoke prowess, motivational sayings, love of the Chicago Cubs and Iowa football, and the joy he brought to everything he did are the stuff of legends. As we remember Zac and celebrate his life, our thoughts are with the people who knew him best: his family. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed.
