The recent Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Assessment Workshop, jointly hosted by Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and USAID’s South Asia Regional Energy Partnership (SAREP), marked a significant step forward in integrating gender equality into the energy sector. Our senior leadership actively participated, discussing the vital role of GESI in energy initiatives. The discussion highlighted various initiatives by EESL aimed at promoting gender equality. These include training underprivileged women as commercial drivers, empowering Solar Mart Didis with technical skills, and building the capacity of SHG women to assemble solar lamps, among others. At EESL, we are committed to empowering women and gender inclusion in the energy sector. Together, we will continue to drive meaningful change.
