✅ It's been 3 weeks since we kicked off live sessions for the Innovation Managers Executive Learning Program, and almost a week away from finishing our 1st Module of the program. ⏭ In addition to the diversity in industries and geographies in the cohort, it is quite interesting to get different perspectives on the innovation ecosystems and how the conversations we are having are shaping up and transforming ESOs one IM at a time . ♻ All the way back discussing the role of ESOs in driving innovation in Africa, some of the key points mentioned by our panelists include: ✨Joining the dots in the ecosystem, entrepreneurs look up to you to help them figure out their business, meet the right people, make the introductions and even knocking on some doors. ✨Having a strong network is vital in all of these and the best way to grow one is to build trust between your self, other enablers, corporates and funders. ✨As the ecosystem is intricately woven together with different stakeholders anchored to each other to drive value, mapping out the role played by every unit becomes a critical aspect of running the hub. Assignment submission saw the cohort research on "how it's done" at least for local context i.e local incubators, academia and global context, YC among others. Taking lessons, learnings and best practices to design and run a leading program for entrepreneurs and for the market. Monday evening we went LIVE with the inaugural cohort of our "Innovation Managers Executive Learning Program" - a 12-weeks long module-based program aimed at empowering participants from Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (ESOs), from across Africa. With the founding team having a combined 15+ years experience across multiple geographies, within the entrepreneurship and innovation domain, our goal is to upskill and empower participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to lead effective, sustainable, and scalable and innovation programs. Having received over 150 applications we are driving our inaugural cohort with 13 handpicked participants from 7 countries and an age demograpic ranging 23 - 49 years of age, largely representing individuals already operating incubation and innovation programs across universities, corporations ans development organisations.
