Maurya Pydah, Executive Director, Greenko Group, accepted the award from the Hon’ble MNRE Minister Pralhad Joshi in the presence of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Goa Shri Dr. Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy CM of Telangana Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Power Shri Shripad Naik, Cabinet Minister for Energy and Petrochemicals Department of Government of Gujarat Shri Kanubhai Desai, and Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy Shri Bhupinder Bhalla. Greenko is awarded the Second Highest Achiever amongst Independent Power Producers in Overall Wind Power Capacity Commissioned and Third Highest Achiever amongst Independent Power Producers in Overall Renewable Energy Capacity Commissioned categories. Greenko is leading the energy transition in India through carbon free energy storage solutions by integrating renewables with pumped storage projects to supply round-the-clock renewable energy. Greenko is currently developing multiple PSPs across India to create a 100 + Giga Watt Hour / Day Digital Cloud Based Storage Platform enabling industrial decarbonisation in hard-to-abate sectors.

Group President & JMD Mahesh Kolli signed & exchanged MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu in the august presence of hon'ble Chief Minister MK Stalin. As part of the MoU, Greenko Group will build 3 Pumped Storage Projects totalling 3300 MW in Tirupathur, Salem & Tiruvannamalai districts. As part of its #EnergyTransition and #Decarbonisation goals for India, Greenko is building 100+ GWh of Connected Digitized Cloud Storage enabled through integrated pumped storage projects across the nation. The MoU was exchanged in the presence of hon’ble Minister of Industries of Tamil Nadu Dr. TRB Rajaa and Greenko Group CEO & MD Anil Chalamalasetty.

Our Co-founder, Mahesh Kolli participated in the panel discussion on ‘Meeting the Growing Power Needs of the Global South’ at the #CERAWeek 2024 held in Houston, USA. CERAWeek by S&P Global is the world's preeminent energy conference that focuses on multidimensional Energy Transition: markets, climate, technology, and geopolitics. The other panelists in the session were U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Anna Shpitsberg & VP - Schneider Electric, Gianfranco Monzini.
