Get to know one of the standout projects from our Future of Food Fellowship, "Game of Food," created by Netavya Kapoor and Pallavi Nair. This innovative project uses gamification to unravel the complexities of the food supply chain, offering a unique perspective on the intricate relationships between different stakeholders. In the game, players make decisions on the behalf of key stakeholders: farmers, businesses, consumers, and the environment. While the environment isn't a playable character, the decisions made by the other stakeholders directly affect it. This setup emphasizes the delicate balance required to align the goals of all involved, showing how challenging it can be to make choices that benefit everyone. Netavya and Pallavi plan to develop "Game of Food" into a web application, allowing more people to experience firsthand just how complex and interconnected the food supply chain truly is. A single decision, made with the best intentions, might inadvertently harm the environment, highlighting the nuanced impact of every choice.

We recently wrapped up our Synergy Summit 2024 in the vibrant city of Jaipur! Our amazing state teams from Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Delhi came together for this special offsite event. The summit was packed with insightful sessions led by our leaders on vision alignment, future goals, and the latest in tech and product developments. We also took the time to celebrate our team's hard work with a rewarding and heartwarming Rewards and Recognition ceremony. Yesterday, the FarMart team gathered for an inspiring Town Hall led by our Co-Founders, Alekh Sanghera and Mehtab Singh Hans. This event brought the entire team together to chart the course for our future, share important departmental updates, and celebrate our collective milestones. Alekh and Mehtab presented our strategic roadmap, highlighting the organization’s short-term and long-term goals. They also emphasized the key focus areas that will drive our growth and innovation in the coming years. The Town Hall concluded with an engaging Q&A session, fostering an atmosphere of transparency and collaboration. This open dialogue allowed team members to voice their thoughts. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the event and for your hard work and dedication towards building the good food economy!
