📢Last week our People & Culture Vice President Vipasha Kashyap and other enthusiastic HR team member Purva Sharma had a chance to attend the fifth edition of the ETHRWorld in association with Skillsoft dedicated to tech hiring practices and priorities as AI continues to shape the world of work. It gathered speakers from S&P Global, Johnson & Johnson, Amazon, Publicis Sapient, Honda, Microsoft, KPMG, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, and many more. As a believer in lifelong learning, here are some of the few key takeaways that our colleagues found interesting, and essential for upskilling and reskilling for HR in an advertising agency. 👉Bridging learning and practice: We need to ensure that learning isn’t just theoretical. We must bridge the gap between learning and application. This includes diverse, accessible content and linking learning metrics to business goals. 👉Building adaptable teams: As generative AI becomes more prominent, the company must align their focus on building the workforce that can adapt and utilize new skills to stay competitive and innovative. 👉Focusing on talent positioning: Preparing employees to thrive in rapidly evolving technological landscape is more than essential. One way of achieving this is by identifying employees who have shown adaptability and innovative thinking positioning them in roles where they can lead AI-driven projects, and providing training to employees how to use AI tools efficiently and ethically.
